HoloAttack! is a fast-paced combo-stacking game where you demolish landmarks and buildings using unique skills on each characters. Play as the Hololive EN Myth members, Gura, Ame, Ina, Kiara, and Calli as you chain combos to achieve your goal. The game features a variety of destructible buildings that add strategic depth to the gameplay.

Gameplay

Characters

In HoloAttack!, players begin by selecting a character, each with their own unique skills and abilities. The core objective is to stack combos by progressively destroying buildings, starting from the smallest structures and working up to the largest landmark.

SpecialBuilding

Throughout the game, you'll encounter a variety of special buildings that provide helpful effects. These can buff your character, enhance your destruction power, or even trigger chain reactions that help demolish other buildings more efficiently.

TakeABath

This game also has a debuff system that you need to manage, including:

  • Slower movement speed, making it harder to manoeuvre.
  • Reduced attack speed, affecting your combo potential.
  • And more!

TakeABath

HoloAttack! offers two distinct game modes, catering to different playstyles:

  1. Time Attack Mode โณ โ€“ Race against the time-limits! Players must destroy buildings as quickly as possible within a time limit, stacking combos efficiently to achieve the highest score before time runs out.
  2. Timeless Mode ๐ŸŒฟ โ€“ A more relaxed experience where players can practice, experiment, and enjoy the environment without any time restrictions. Take your time to master combos and explore different strategies at your own pace.

[Developer Notes]

This version has been deemed stable and is now released as a demo. The final release of the game is uncertain, as I am currently busy with other commitments and experimenting with new game mechanics (unrelated to this project). However, development may continue if time allows and I feel motivated to work on it.

The development version (unreleased build) currently includes work-in-progress content such as two additional maps, a tutorial level, new characters, and an extra game mode, though their final inclusion is still undecided. Feedback on the demo is highly appreciated!

Dev-Notes

  1. Subsurface scattering ray tracing is still experimental and may not work as expected.
  2. Ray tracing is not recommended due to high performance costs, but it can enhance lighting quality.
  3. This is a fan project that is still in development Donations are welcome but not required, any contributions will go directly towards development. If youโ€™d like to help by creating SFX, music, or other assets, feel free to contact me!
  4. Development will continue based on project interest and availability. Updates depend on community engagement and whether I have sufficient free time to dedicate to further improvements.
